hello iceman. i have a big confusion as well as a problem. please help me out.
i had an atkt in bsc it sem 2 exam which was held in march 2009, however we had a re-attempt of the same exam in may 2009, but i couldn't clear it, and as i was given admission in SY as it was just 1 KT i was carrying along with.
now the atkt exam was held in march 2010, i couldn't clear that too, so we gave a re-attempt in may 2010. i couldn't clear that either, so i couldn't get admission in TY as my FY still had 1 kt. i had a year's drop.
however i had an attempt this year in march 2011, but to some misfortune, i couldn't give that examination, and was preparing thoroughly for the may 2011 attempt. i went to college on saturday, to confirm the time-table as well as to pay the atkt exam fee and everything, but there was no information on the notice board about the may 2011 exam at all.
hence i went ahead and spoke to the head of the department, to ask the exam date and time, but she says that there won't be any more attempts for you this year. she says the university rules have changed, you cannot give the may 2011 exam, and it won't be held. "Now only 1 attempt is allowed which was in march" she quoted
however, the people who were running parallel with me and having atkt in sem 1 (as i had in sem 2) were given 2 attempts, in oct 2010, and in jan 2011. But for the sem 2 they said that only 1 attempt is allowed.

Above statement maybe True or It depends on College
1. As 1 years ago my friends who gave FY ATKT where allowed 2 time (OCT and MARCH(orApril)) in one academic year to give the exam.
2. And other thing it depends on the college who have the control over First 2year of B.sc.IT .
Ask someone other college student above this and i will also try to find what the new rules are , with my resources . just check my blog in few days
I got some more information for above query, that i asked a friend who had SEM III ATKT was given only one chance in one academic year for giving his ATKT exam
I need sem 2 maths 2 book from index to all pages please help me without this I can not even apply for my 2009 fy kt exam .and 4th sem book also required
Thanks a lot iceman. I wouldn't have had a problem with not being able to give an exam, if the earlier semester wasn't allowed 2 attempts against my sem's 1 attempt.
However now after speaking to the principal as well as the management, i somehow convinced them, and they are conducting the exam.
My exam is scheduled on june 6th.
the scene of Bsc IT isn't good compared to others.

1st and 2nd year are taken by the colleges. So you have to go and convince them to let you have second, plea them. Tell them i have already finished my punishment of skiping One exam.

Hello sir, I hav 2 ATKT in sem 5 in SQL n VB....As per our knowledge in final year we get combined result of 5th n 6th sem....n if v hav kt in either of the sem den v only get Pass class.....!! Bt one of my teacher told me that if I giv the entire 5th sem again n clear all the subject den i wil not get Pass Class instead i would get a Class according to my percentage...is dis right..? please help me...!!

I joined BSc IT (Old Course) after 25 years. I had done diploma 25 years ago. I cleared my all semester except 6th semester in BSc IT. They failed me in one subject (Project Management). They gave 27 marks in this subject. I do not want to pass the exam in parts (suppliment). I want to pass the exam all paper in one sitting and for that I have to re-attempt all the papers once again. That is why, I want to know how much attempts of examination of Bsc IT (Old Course) are left for (5th semester and) 6th semester? Can any one help me out please? (Can there be any chance of passing in Revaluation?)

It only Happens for first two years of B.sc.IT.
It happens when you have more than 250 marks ATKT when you end your current Academic year.
You get a drop and have to repeat that year again.

Yeah i think, because you cant enter the third year of B.sc.IT with ATKT of First Year.

Yes your teacher is right, But this is a Long-shot.
DeleteIt's not that easy as it sounds, many things can go wrong.
Like you can fail in more 2 Subject's and get stuck with trouble than what you have now.
But it's your choice, think and take it.

ReplyDeleteHii i have 3kts in "sem 1" and 2kts in "sem 2" which i failed to clear and got drop and now i'm giving kt exam for sem 1 is this a last chance for sem 1 kt exam if i failed to clear this time i will get another drop
